Tal Ben-Shahar is an author and lecturer, who teaches at the Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya, a private university in Israel.  He is also the Chief Learning Officer of the Wholebeing Institute, an educational organisation committed to spreading ideas and practices that help individuals and groups live life to its fullest.

Tal consults and lectures around the world to executives in multi-national corporations, Fortune 500 companies, educational institutions, and the general public. He is the author of the international best sellers Happier and Being Happy, which have been translated into 25 languages. His latest book is Choose the Life You Want: The Mindful Way to Happiness. Ben-Shahar received his PhD in Organisational Behaviour from Harvard University.
