Rachel Botsman

Rachel Botsman is a leading expert and author on trust in the modern world. As the first Trust Fellow at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School, she aims to challenge and change the way people think about trust and related topics such as power, influence, truth and beliefs. Rachel is the author of two groundbreaking books. What’s Mine is Yours predicted the rise of the ‘sharing economy’ and was subsequently named by TIME as one of the “Ten Ideas That Will Change the World”. Her highly acclaimed work Who Can You Trust? is an exploration of how technology is transforming trust.

Cameron is also an accomplished deep-sea explorer. He has made 33 expeditions to the wreck of the Titanic and recently became the first person to make a solo expedition to the bottom of the Mariana Trench – the deepest known place on the planet. As the founder of Earthship Productions he has made important documentary films about ocean exploration and conservation.

As an explorer, Cameron has been equally fascinated by both outer and inner space. He has worked for years with space scientists and engineers developing viable architectures for the human exploration of Mars. Cameron served on the NASA Advisory Council for three years and is an active member of the Mars Society and the Planetary Society.
