Before his 21st birthday, Gulak developed two highly acclaimed prototypes for accessible yet specialized vehicles that hope to facilitate and revolutionize the way we get around.
After winning numerous international science and engineering awards before he finished high school, Gulak chose to follow his passion for innovation instead of the conventional path of higher education. His first invention, The Uno, is a one-wheeled, zero-emissions motorcycle landed him on the cover of Popular Science magazine and provided the base for the creation of his company, BPG Werks. His second invention, an extreme all-terrain vehicle called the DTV Shredder, is his company’s first production vehicle. A few of his many accolades include Canada’s Top 20 Under 20 and Popular Science’s Invention of the Year in 2008 for The Uno.
