Dubbed “Mr. Creativity” by The Economist, John is an authority on organizational transformation and new media.

Self-proclaimed an innovation activist, John is chairman of the Institute for Large Scale Innovation, an association that gathers 30 national Chief Innovation Officers. Coining the term “large scale innovation” to refer to innovation as a societal agenda, John has worked with numerous nations and regions on innovation strategy and execution. As unconventional as he is multi-disciplinary, he apprenticed to rock legend Frank Zappa in 1969 and received degrees from Yale College in philosophy, Yale Medical School in psychiatry, and Harvard Business School in management.
